Ivanka Trump Recommends That Everyone Should Wear A Mask While Celebrating The 4th Of July And
The First Daughter of the United States was slammed on social media once again, this time after she advised people to wear masks amid the COVID-19 pandemic that the U.S. is the epicenter of! While you may think it makes no sense she is being dragged online for something like that since she is right, the reason she is a target of trolls again is her father, the POTUS, refusing to wear a mask himself!
As you may know, Donald Trump has been enraging many by encouraging the American citizens to skip putting on the protective face masks, leading his supporters by example.
That being said, when Ivanka recommended that everyone wears a mask to protect themselves and others from the virus, many were outraged by the hypocrisy and encouraged her to tell that to her dad first and foremost!
Her tweet from yesterday reads: ‘Please be safe and responsible this holiday weekend. As we celebrate the 4th of July, follow state and local guidelines to keep you and your loved ones safe. Practice proper hygiene, social distancing and wear a mask when in close proximity to others.’
As mentioned before, in theory, there is absolutely nothing wrong with her piece of advice!
But online users were quick to comment things like: ‘You should tell your father.’
Many also mentioned that controversial rally in Tulsa last month, which was attended by over 6,000 supporters who refused to wear masks, just like their president!
Furthermore, the timing of Ivanka’s tweet was pretty bad for another reason – her sister in law, Kimberly Guilfoyle was confirmed to having tested positive for the virus not too long ago!
That being said, someone commented that ‘Ivanka should tell Kimberly….oh wait, too late.’
